While I've been out of town, someone dropped three truckloads of dirt on a
field where we used to bash. So, I had to try it out. They're pretty big,
so I got some pretty huge air off of them, but the fun was cut short by a
sheared CVD pin. Bummer!
Looking good here in Ohio.
Got a chance to operate with on of the local boy scout packs. Pretty fun.
Didn't post last time, so I'll see if it goes this time.
But yeah, $350,000+ car.
Got a Jennings UCSVH-35 vacuum variable capacitor for $35. Kinda low capacitance at 39 pF but the price was right.
Pretty nice place. Stopped in to grab an early dinner and check the place out. Not too far from my hotel, about 40 min ride.

Pretty good. Ol' Scot tried to overcharge me for the salad though. Way to go, dork.
Salad was tasty, had a very Chicago flavor to it, reminiscent of Arvey's in Niles, IL. About 80% of the way there. Everything had TONS of garlic. Entree was shrimp and lobster. Not too bad.
Scary thing is that I didn't see him write it!
